Home remedies to minimise those ugly pores on the face

There are lots of skin problems but the open pores is the most common one nowadays. It is the root cause of lots of other skin problems like clogged pores, excessive dry and excessive oily skin. An enlarged pore is an opening on the surface of the skin. While a normal one does not really cause much trouble, an enlarged one can lead to forming of sebaceous gland that releases oil to lubricate and protect skin. After a while, the oil turns into blockages and cause tiny pores on the skin to stretch. And, quite obviously these pores look ugly. And, if you are obsessed with these not-so-pleasant pores on your face, you need to try the following home remedies to deal with the problem.

Banana Peel

Don’t we all love bananas to eat? But have you ever thought of the benefits of its peel? Well, get ready to be surprised! Banana peel contains lutein, which is an antioxidant, that aids skin nourishment. Also, banana peels consist of potassium which promotes a flawless skin. Just pick up a banana peel and rub it against your skin in a circular motion. Continue to rub for fifteen minutes and then wash your face with cold water. Trying this remedy twice a week will shrink your large pores to a great extent.

Chia seed face pack

  1. Soak 1 tbsp chia seeds in water for 15-20 min.
  2. After 20 min, strain the solution and add honey, almond oil to it. Mix well.
  3. Add 1/2 tbsp rice flour to the paste.
  4. Gently massage the paste on to your face and let it sit for around 15-20 minutes.
  5. Now do Hot and cold therapy, i.e. wash your face with lukewarm water and follow it up by washing your face with cold water to close pores.
